Cachrys crassiloba
Τουμπαρίνα, Καχρύς η χονδρόλοβη
It is the first of the two Cachrys species found in Cyprus. It is indigenous and near-endemic (it also exists in Anatolia). It is encountered in hilly and mountainous southern Cyprus at an altitude of 25-1225 metres. It grows up to 1.5 metre and blooms mostly in June and July. It has very characteristic leaves, coarsely dissected and thick, 15-80 mm long and 3-8 mm wide, that make it stand out from the other Apiaceae.
