Bellevalia nivalis
Μπελλεβάλια η χιονώδης
There are only two Bellevalia species in Cyprus of the approximately 65 species found in the Mediterranean mainly and some in Central Asia. This one is found only in Cyprus, in Syria and the Lebanon. “Nivalis” in Latin means “snow-like”.
